STARFLEET MARINES:
DUTY & HONOR

When the Defiant is undergoing refits, Captain Sisko is asked to take command of the Ü.S.S. Sovereign, taking it on a clandestine mission into Romulan space to rescue POWs leftover from the now infamous Enterprise-C incident. He is accompanied by Major Ironsides and his squad of Starfleet Marines.

CONVERSATIONS AFTER
ZERO HUNDRED HOURS

Captain Johnson, after waking from a nightmare, walks his ship in the midnight hours, taking stock of things after the events in No Man's Land [Mission Log 4].

FATHER-SON BONDING

A father and his son wander through the corridors of the U.S.S. Courageous, taking glimpses beneath the surface of the crewmembers to determine the measure of the crew.

A Q-MAS CAROL

Captain Johnson recieves a visitor, or a dream, or a hallucination... or a nightmare.

The crew of the Courageous, like many other starship crews, gather to play some poker and swap some stories. This particular night happens before the events in No Man's Land [Mission Log 4].

AMBASSADOR FAVOR'S STORY:
THE HEARTLESS ONE

Favor is the first to tell his story, regaling the crew with his last few days at Starfleet Academy then skipping ahead to the time when he became the target of a bloodthirsty crimelord's wrath...

CAPTAIN JOHNSON'S STORY:
AVOIDING DESTINY

Johnson wraps up the night with a behind-the-scenes look of his life when he was thrust into the public view as a hero of the Dominion War during the Federation's, and his own, bleakest months. He tells about his struggles with his family and himself when he's asked to step up and help Starfleet retake Betazed.

DOCTOR HARTMAN'S STORY:
THE CMO'S DUTY

Hartman is next to tell a story. He tells of the last few weeks of the U.S.S. Pacific before ther involvement in the massive operation to retake Deep Space Nine. A murder mystery aboard the ship blossomed into a threat against the ship and her crew.

COMING SOON...
Far away from home, the crew of the Courageous need reminders of why they are out there in the Borderlands. Sending letters to home, and receiving letters from home, provide this encouragement. Some of the letters carry good tidings, and some of the letters carry bad news... Set after the Courageous's visit to the Bazaar [Mission Log 7].

BOGARDE'S LETTERS

Chief Bogarde attempts to reconnect to his estranged son, Leonard. However, Leonard is unwilling to even read his father's letters, until he is placed in a situation where he gains insight in his father's dilemma...

JOHNSON'S LETTERS

Now with his father dead, Captain Johnson's immediate family now is only his sister, Jennifer. Always close to his sister, Johnson makes the extra effort to stay in touch with Jennifer. A captain in the Navy based on Earth, Jennifer also provides him with a way to see how the war is progressing on the home front.

FONDA'S LETTERS

Chief Engineer Fonda's daughter is one the most important people in her life. So how can she bear to leave her daughter behind on Earth for years at a time? Her letters reveal more about their relationship.

HARTMAN'S LETTERS

Doctor Hartman reconnects with an old colleague, Dr. Sherri Cho. A doctor in the 47th Medical Regiment, Dr. Cho gets a close view of the front lines of the Dominion War that Hartman doesn't get, except through her letters...
